I see there are also fuel pump rebuild kit for the 3 bolt design that came with this unit, are these worth a try to make things "cleaner" ? . Definitely a better alternative for the older 3 screw style fuel pump to keep everything clean. Just a word of advice, remember which fuel lines are which and pay attention to where the little springs .Maintaining a proper air fuel ratio, that is not too rich, and at the same time not too lean is the key.
